Big Sky is also pushing closer to their goal of having the most technologically-advanced lift network in North America. The Swift Current lift out of the main base area is going to be upgraded over the summer to increase the passenger capacity from 4 to 6. It will also be fitted with heated seats and a bubble shield. These updates will be ready for guest use in the 2021-2022 ski season! There is also a new gondola expected to open by 2025. Details are sparse, but we do know that it is expected to be an activity hub and that it is being built with the goal of being a warm, comfortable transportation option.
